A Reliable Solution

The customer needed a reliable shipping carton with interior packaging for 64 ceramic parts. The carton required removable trays containing 16 parts for multiple applications. The customer asked that the materials be lightweight for low shipping costs and inexpensive without compromising reliability.

WHAT WE DID

Custom Chipboard Partition

We designed a 16 cell chipboard partition with appropriate cell sizes for the ceramic products.

Custom Corrugated Tray

We designed a corrugated tray to fold around this partition. This tray included finger holes for easy removal. Four trays of 16 partitions were designed to fit into a standard 13 x 13 x 4 shipping carton. The shipping carton would hold 64 ceramic parts. A 13 x 13 x 8 carton option would fit 8 trays for a total of 128 parts.
